About Beautifully Delicate Skin Care

Beautifully Delicate Skin Care was founded in January 2014 by two sisters, Haseena Scott and Nazlah S. Haamid, who share a deep passion for body and skin care. What began as a personal challenge soon grew into a purposeful business rooted in care, wellness, and intention.

Haseena, a licensed cosmetologist with over 25 years in the beauty industry, struggled to find all-natural products suitable for her sensitive skin. Many options on the market contained harsh, hard-to-pronounce chemicals like butyl phenyl methylpropional and phenoxyethanol—ingredients she knew could be irritating or even harmful. Frustrated by the lack of safe, gentle alternatives, she decided to create her own.

With her expertise in beauty and wellness, including extensive knowledge of essential oils, Haseena partnered with her sister Nazlah to bring the vision to life. Nazlah, who is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, had long dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur. Together, they combined their strengths to build something meaningful.

They began by crafting simple brown sugar body scrubs, gifting them to friends and family. The overwhelmingly positive response inspired them to expand, and Beautifully Delicate Skin Care was born.

Today, every product is thoughtfully handmade using all-natural ingredients. Each batch is created with care, love, and a commitment to providing a gentle yet effective experience for all skin types—especially those with delicate or sensitive skin.
